Why Not Travel Store - Pet of the Month for November 2025

     When I hear “RIP”, it’s usually my dog doing something she isn’t supposed to be doing. Sometimes it’s just one of her toys she gets a little intense with, other times it’s an expensive sofa pillow. But, pretty sure our November Pet of the Month, Rhipp, doesn’t do anything like that.

     Rhipp, who is five years old, uses his excess energy to herd horses and grandkids keeping them safe, and also keeps birds away. Rhipp isn’t a fan of birds (Digester: Methinks he must of caught Alfred Hitchcocks’s ‘The Birds’ on TV once.) Rhipp also loves women and other kids as well. When his human is doing Yoga, Rhipp joins right in with his own Yoga pose of laying on his back with his feet straight up in the air and when he is not doing yoga, he likes walking on the Rocky Point beach, and riding on the 4-wheeler, tractor, and the center console of the pickup. The latter he does driving through Why on the way to RP. He perks up when he knows he’s close to The Why Not Travel Store because he thinks it’s like Disneyland for dogs. Rhipp was born in Texas and has been with his human all of his 5 years except the first six weeks of his life. He is his human’s shadow and Velcro. 

     Now you are probably wondering what Rhipp stands for and quite frankly, I, the Digester, don’t know, but knowing what I now know of Rhipp, I can hazard a guess by thinking it is ‘Rank Hath Its Privileges, People!!’
