Why Not Travel Store - Pet of the Month for February 2026

My name is Vader and I am four and three quarters Earth-years old. I was hanging out at the DS-1 Orbital Battle Station, AKA Barb’s Dog Rescue, in Rocky Point when my furever parents found and adopted me. (No saga of Luke looking for his parents here!) That was less than a parsec back, around September of ’21. Now my family and I drive to Rocky Point quite often in the ol’ Tie Fighter.

We also drive to LA to see my grandparents. When I’m not traveling, I get to go on walks twice a day in the Space Quadrant I call ‘The Neighborhood.’

     I also live with my cat brother, Obi-Wan that I love to play with daily. I’m also an uncle to my niece Luna and my nephew Mookie (Digester: Why wasn’t he named ‘Wookiee?’) 

     I guess I’ll have to retire from the Empire, because I just love being a cuddle bug and lounging on the couches and beds at my home. When we are on our way to Rocky Point, we always like to stop at The Why Not Travel Store for gas, snacks, and rest!! I believe ‘The Force’ to be strong in them!!

​Every month, our staff from across the nation will review submissions and if your pet is selected, somebody from the store will reach out to you. If your pet is not selected, fear not for your pet will be put back in the contest for the following month(s) contest.
